ORMEROD, LAURENCE. B.A. from TRINITY, 1622-3. 3rd s. of Lawrence, of Ormerod, Lancs. Bapt. at Burnley, Mar. 7, 1601-2. Licensed to teach at Rochdale Grammar School, June 22, 1629. Head Master there, 1638. Married Frances, dau. of Joseph Radcliffe, of Rochdale, 1634.
