George Ormerod

of Cowpe

Baptised in 1625.
Buried on 12 June 1669.
Will proved in 1670.

George's will was very similar to his father's, He also made hisbrother, John (6W2) as his feoffee. The Cowpe lands went to his eldestson, Richard, but the estate was charged with the payment of £10 toeach of the other children, as they attained the age of 21.
It also had to support, not only their mother, Jane, but also theirgrandmother, Elizabeth, who did not die until January 1681/82.


Mary ?

Mary was buried in 1657, apparently on the same day as her husbandGeorge's illegitimate daughter by Christabel Kay.

Buried on 11 October 1686.
