Baptised on 25 March 1730.

Peter's mother, Alice, bequeathed money to John Taylor in her will of1760 - she 'gives and bequeaths unto John Taylor a poor childunlawfully begotten on the body of Alice Taylor late servant withPeter Ormerod my son the sum of five pounds of like lawful money.'


John Ormerod

Baptised on 6 February 1753.


George Ormerod

Baptised on 23 August 1754.


Lawrence Ormerod

Baptised on 19 May 1756.


Betty Ormerod

Baptised in May 1758.


George Ormerod

Baptised on 15 March 1690/91.
Buried on 19 June 1718.
Will proved in 1722.

George set up on his father's land at Shawclough, but died in 1718.


Alice Mitchell

Buried on 24 October 1760.
Will proved in 1761.


George Ormerod

Baptised in September 1715.

This is possibly George Ormerod of Lee and late of Stack, whoseestates eventually passed to Lawrence Ormerod (9E2). (See TheOrmerods, pp.131-132)


Margaret West

Margaret had four boys and a girl.
Lived at Higher Mist, Hapton, at the time of the 1881 Census.


Dinah Ormerod

Dinah married and went to live in Nelson, where her husbanddisappeared leaving her with two sons and a daughter.
One son became a professional roller skater.
