Ellen Ann Ormerod

From notes made by Malcolm Ormerod:
"Ellen Ann Ormerod (Nellie), b. abt 1880 at Claremont Street, Nelson
She married Will Ogden, a baker and confectioner at 87 Scotland Road,Nelson, who moved to new premises at 129 Scotland Road.
They then moved to Princes Avenue, Blackpool - semi-retired withinterests in the estate agency, Ormerod & Ogden.
She died in her early 60s.
Ellen had two daughters: Dorothy (who died at 20 years old) andMinnie, who married Willie Bradley (son of a Nelson Manufacturer). Shedied at the age of about 40, living at Hest Bank, Morecombe."


Margaret Alice Ormerod

From notes made by Malcolm Ormerod:
"Margaret Ormerod, b. abt 1874 at Extwistle, married Thomas Ross andlived at 4 Bishop Street, Nelson.
They then moved some time in about 1928 to Dunelt Road, Blackpool.
Margaret was a warp dresser, and both worked in the mill until theirmid 50s.
They had an only child, Clifford Ross, b.19 March 1904, who marriedVera and had two daughters."


Joseph Ormerod

From notes made by Malcolm Ormerod:
"Joseph Ormerod, b. abt 1870 at Extwistle Fold Cottage, married inapprox. 1900 to Annie Wolfendale.
He lived at 120 Chapelhouse Road, Nelson, moving in 1914 to 13Meredith Street, Nelson and in the 1920s to Princess Avenue,Blackpool.
He had no Children and died in about 1950.
He was a stone mason and builder - J. & W. Ormerod (Builders)."
