The First World War Medal Rolls show that Henry Ormerod was entitled to the British War Medal, Victory Medal and 1914/15 Star (having entered a theatre of war in Egypt on 15 November 1915).

Henry was born in 1877, and hailed from Harlingsea.

What remains of Henry's service record is held at the National Archives on microfilm WO364/5803.

This microfilm consists of records that were missed out of the proper sequence, when the originals were microfilmed, and are described as "WO364 Mis-sorts".
