Son of William and Margaret Ormerod, of Carlisle; husband of Isabel Mary Ormerod, of Carlisle.

Tom died on 30 July 1943, aged 26, and is buried in Hamburg Cemetery (Grave Ref. 10A. M. 12).

At the time of his death 57 Squadron were flying Lancasters, from R.A.F. Scampton, in the air war against Germany.
