Henry Ormrod was killed in action on the first day of the German Spring Offensive in 1918, at which time 13th (Service) Battalion, The King's (Liverpool Regiment), was attached to 9th Brigade, 3rd Division.

On 21 March 1918 the 3rd Division formed part of VI Corps of the Third Army, and was positioned north of the Sensee River Valley. The area held by the Division was bombarded by the Germans, and a number of enemy raids took place, which were all repulsed.

The Soldiers Died in the Great War Database records that Henry was born and resided in Liverpool, where he also enlisted in the Army.

Henry has no known grave and his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
