James Henry Ormrod

The Commonwealth War Graves Debt of Honour Register notes that James Henry Ormrod was the son of Ernest Mottershead Ormrod and Sarah Beatrice Ormrod, of Wallasey, Cheshire.

James died on 4 May 1944, aged 21, and is buried in Courtisols (St Memmie) Cemetery, France (Mil. Plot. Row 1. Coll. grave 4.)

At the time of his death, James was flying an Avro Lancaster B Mk III (PH-Z), S/n JB748.
