Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres
The Menin Gate at Ypres, Belgium, bears the names of 54,896 of those who died between 1914 and 15 August 1917 and have no known grave.
Their names are engraved on panels which form the walls both inside the archway and on the walls on the terraces and stairways to them.
